The January NEW MEMBERS MEETING in Everett will be Sunday January 10th, 4:00pm. This is an introduction to community currencies, what they are, how they work, why we need them, and what specifically Fourth Corner Exchange Time Dollars are and how to use them. Everyone must attend a New Members Introduction in order to join Fourth Corner Exchange. If you can't make it, but would like to be notified of the next meeting, let us know.

Member Dan Harbin graciously hosts the Port Townsend Member Social each month at the Dundee Hill Center. Members should bring a dish to share and their own plates, cups, silverware and napkins. Dan has also asked for donations of plates, cups, glasses and silverware for community functions such as this.

This weekly meeting has been going for over 10 years and was initially based on helping individuals build their businesses. At this time - during unstable and shifting financial/economic times, the group members have decided to redirect the efforts of this meeting to include web based barter and trade via credit 'Life dollars'. We believe that alternative currencies during these unstable times, will provide a stabilizing factor to our personal finances as well as this community.
